Raffle Buddy FAQ

Q: Are there any costs with creating an account?
A: NO! Signing up for a My Raffle Buddy account is free. You may use the website free-of-charge to manage your personal settings, enter and watch game numbers and view publicly available data from any company or organization that hosts a private My Raffle Buddy site. Please note that there may be costs that a specific company or organization will charge to attend a virtual or live event, participate in an online seminar, or play games of chance. Those charges would be provided by those companies or organizations directly, but creating an account with My Raffle Buddy is always free!

Q: How do I create an account?
A: You can create an account by clicking on the ‘Sign-up for Free’ link in the top of the website or by selecting the ‘Login’ menu item and then selecting ‘Not a member? Sign-up for Free’ link on the login page. Fill out the registration form and a link with a temporary password will be emailed to you. After logging into the system for the first time, you will be asked to reset your password to a permanent password of your choosing. As always, it is recommended that you never share your passwords with anyone and if you feel your account has been compromised you should change your password immediately.

Q: My initial temporary password expired. What should I do?
A: When registering for a free My Raffle Buddy account, you will receive an email with a temporary password to sign-in the first time. The temporary password provided in this email expires after 4 hours. If you cannot login using your temporary password during this 4 hour window, you can request a new temporary password using the ‘Forgot Password’ link provided on our login page. A new temporary password will be generated for your account and sent to you.

Q: How do I reset my password?
A: If you can’t login to your account, see the FAQ item below on what to do if you forgot your password. If you know your password, then login using the My Raffle Buddy login menu item. From the top menu, select Profile->Manage Account. Click on the ‘Reset Password’ link and follow the instructions provided on the screen.

Q: I forgot my password. What should I do?
A: If you forgot your My Raffle Buddy account password, you can initiate a password reset and a new temporary password will be sent to you in an email. You can find the password reset request link on the login page of the My Raffle Buddy website. From the top menu, select Login. The ‘Forgot Password’ link is provided in the bottom of the login form.

Q: What should I do if my account has been locked from too many bad password attempts?
A: When too many bad password attempts reaches the specified system limit, your account will be locked out for a randomized period of time. Please wait for a minimum of 15 minutes before logging in again or contact the My Raffle Buddy support team at support@myrafflebuddy.com to initiate a password reset on your account. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but these measures are in place to protect our users.

Q: Can anyone see my personal information?
A: Public users (other My Raffle Buddy subscribers) cannot see any of your personal information. This includes all information located in your profile including any of your saved numbers, games, or events. Some of the administrative roles of the company or organization within the private My Raffle Buddy site that you are logging into have access to see your address and phone number. This is provided to these administrators to be able to manage the game and event data of which you are associated.

Q: Do I have to share my address and phone number?
A: No, your address and phone number are optional, but we recommend adding them so the organizations you subscribe to may contact you if you win a game of chance, an article you lost is found at an event, or in the event of an emergency.
